Murray’s publication on attention and VSTM
Alexandra Murray’s study on how selective attention influences capacity and/or precision in VSTM is accepted for publication in the special issue of Neuropsychologia on the Interactions between Attention and VSTM. She found that selective encoding primarily increased the probability of accurate memory recall; and that ERP markers of preparatory attention predicted the cue-related changes in recall probability.
