Zita Eva Patai
Zita’s doctoral research investigates the neural mechanisms by which long-term memory can direct the orienting of attention to bias perception. Her experiments combine behavioural measures with non-invasive recordings of brain activity using ERPs and EEG.
Zita grew up in Budapest, Hungary. She completed her undergraduate studies at the George Washington University, obtaining a B.A. in Psychology (2007), cum laude. She continued as a research assistant for one year, under the supervision of Professor Myeong-Ho Sohn.
